DIPA from Hermitage Brewing Co in San Jose, CA. I was really looking forward to a good IPA, unfortunately I did not find it here. Maybe it sat in the back of the fridge too long, but I get the distinct odor of dentist office anticeptic cleaner. You know what I’m talking about. A few squirts from the aerosol can of it and you might not even notice the sticky dark spots on the carpet and wonder if it’s blood. The smell turns the taste to bandaids and bactine spray.
If I try again it will be as fresh as I can get it.
Sounds like you actually got a fresh bottle, that is how it was when I had it up north on tap. Makes you wonder if Bevmo knows and that is why they discounted the bottles.
Thanks for the heads up Timmy. …must be an acquired taste which I have not quite acquired. I’ll save my hard earned coin on something else.
