Chief Greens

Whoa…quite good. No date on the can, but label says fresh frozen hops. So I’m assuming recently made beer with fresh frozen hops. That’s what I got out of it anyway. Grassy- citrusy nose, light body with plenty of hop flavors and bitterness with clean dry finish.

It’s a Celebration…

Celebrate Good Times…

…come on!, it’s a Celebration (fresh hop IPA). The most wonderful time of the year…fresh hop beer season.

2017 Celebration

Yep, it’s that time of year again…Brussels sprouts stalks, and wet hop beers…oh, and Sierra Nevada’s Celebration IPA on shelves  while it lasts.

2015 Celebration

Always something to look forward to.  This malt forward fresh hop IPA from Sierra Nevada rarely disappoints.  Cheers.

Celebrate Good Times…Come On..

… it’s a Celebration.   Sierra Nevada 2014 Celebration to be exact.   6.8% ABV of fresh hop IPA yummyness,  and still only 8 bucks for a six’er.

La Flama Dorada & Coup D’etat

A stop at Pizza Port Ocean Beach.  The GABF award winning Belgian-style Tripel, La Flama Dorada, in the dainty glass for the lady,  while I chose a big boy glass of the fresh hop IPA made with Mosiac hops, Coup D’etat.
