Our first visit since they moved into the old Whiskey Creek building…so it has been a while. Our favorites were the Wild Sierra, their mountain farmhouse saison brewed with pine, and Bluesa Brett, a mildly tart blonde with brett.
A tasty 7.2% Belgian-style ale that I found more saison-like than Triple, but that’s just me.
From Mammoth Brewing and on draft at Bottlecraft Little Italy. We enjoyed it while shopping for liquid refreshments. A good mix of tart and sweet… similar to a Flemish red.
Mammoth Brewing Company used locally harvested Cascade hops in what they are calling an imperial pale ale. Body seems kind of light for and imperial (label says 6.8%). Very mild hop for a pale, but drinkable. Need to hydrate anyway after my bike ride and yard work…while making chicken rice soup.
