I was impressed with this maple bourbon barrel-aged barleywine from Mason Ale Works. Strong toffee flavors over the chocolate and coffee…like a pastry stout, but a barleywine…mmm. Clocking in at 13% ABV doesn’t hurt…but it did a little this morning.
