From New Belgium. Nice and hoppy but with an ABV that makes it possible to have one at lunch and still be functional the rest of the day.
A collaboration between Ft Collins, CO breweries Odell and New Belgium, I found this to be a really good, classic American (read: hoppier than your typical pale) Pale Ale. No need to add weird adjuncts, ferment it in a used Honda, wave dead cats over it, or other gimmicks. A great beer all the way […]
The cloudy one on the left is New Belgium Coconut Curry Hefe (for the lady) which we thought the draft version better then the bottle. I grabbed a Mosaic Wet Hop IPA (Amplified Ale Works/California Kebab house beer)… and am already wishing I got the big boy size. Soooo good.
A delicious Lips of Faith collab between New Belgium and Red Rock… Made with peaches, dandelion greens and wood aged beer. Love the Lips of Faith line!
Pretty! Refreshing from New Belgium.
Another great Lips of Faith release by New Belgium perfect for sipping on the porch… A nice Southern-themed Saison brewed with peaches, hominy grits, molasses, lemon peel, biscuit malt and BRETT! Tasty at 9.6% with a refreshingly full flavor, yet I plan to store my other bottle in hopes of further developing the Brett character… […]
We made our way down to Toronado to taste this collaboration on tap at Toronado on Tuesday… Hoppier than hell! A hophead’s dream with a rich hoppiness like they boiled the hell out of the hops! A Super IPA it is! Would like to try it bottled soon.
Last week we were finally able to taste these two versions of the Lost Abbey/New Belgium collaboration side by side. A blind tasting revealed a stronger nose and more pleasant funkiness for the Mo Betta Bretta, but as the Brett Beer warmed up it became more difficult to distinguish the two versions. It was fun! […]
8 months later… Once again enjoyed this lovely sour collaboration by New Belgium and Elysian. This tart pumpkin cranberry ale blended with wood-aged beer is holding up well! Only 4 months until Halloween and new pumpkin beers! Yummy!
Deeelish New Belgium Lips of Faith! Love this tart and refreshing funky wild ale with lychee and a hint of cinnamon. Nice body at 7.5%. Want more!
