An 8% double IPA from Port Brewing. Piney hop nose. Medium body with lingering bitterness. Yeah, this will work. Though not really getting some of the characteristics I would expect from Nelson (Sauvin) in both boil and dry hopping, I’m enjoying it more as I continue to sip. Whoa… it’s gone! Who stole my beer?
Mmm….still a good choice.
Mmm..tasty…IPA. I’m thinking last year’s High Tide has held up very well.
Very nice IPA. Still on draft at the brewery and only a couple of bottles left. Get it while you can.
The first release or Port Brewing’s new Hop Freshener series of beers. The nose is…well…dank…resinous..no floral or citrus. The flavor is nice balance of malt and hops that is…. well… sticky. It kind of lingers on the tongue, but just long enough to want another sip. All that and only 8.5% ABV.
Surprised to see this 2014 GABF award winning imperial IPA, and a such a great price.
Kinsa like a mini vaca…Enjoying bottled version of Port Brewing’s Summer Pale Ale. Seasonally available on draft for a couple years now, this is the first year for bottles. Nicely balanced 6% ABV pale ale. Or maybe I’m just excited that I got home from before dark…
After hours of yard work on a warm day a dip in the pool and much need hydration makes for a perfect break.
A nice day for a beer in the backyard..
Much better then homework alone.
