A 6.4% ABV pumpkin ale from Charlotte, NC, NoDa Brewing. Not a huge fan. A bit too much pumpkin spice, and the finish has a bitterness I didn’t care for.
One of my favorite pumpkin beers out of the 120 unique pumpkin/yam beers that I’ve logged on Untappd @jmastar.
So far, there are 30 different varieties from near and far in my pumpkin patch… Time to start the harvest!
Pumpkin season isn’t over just because Halloween has past… Delicious!
Enjoying another pumpkin beer of the season… La Parcela is an ale brewed with pumpkin, cacao, and spices, then aged in oak to yield a nice sour flavor. Not your sweet pumpkin pie beer! Perfect for sipping with dinner.
….from Buffalo Bill’s Brewery in Hayward, CA. clocking in 5.2%ABV. Not bad…but not great either…but I seem to lean toward a pumpkin with higher ABV….like Smashed Pumpkin from Shipyard.
Trying another seasonal pumpkin ale… Not bad, not great, “Saison-y”, spicy finish…..
