Picked up my bottles previously purchased via BPT, and had a little sample on tap! This French style Biere de Mars was aged in Oak barrels for 4 or so months on persimmons and peaches along with the addition of a house Lacto/Brett blend. The kegged version tasted very nice and smooth on tap today, […]
Checked out another new San Diego brewery! Beautiful tasting room… Something for everyone: blonde, brown, oatmeal stout, saison, IPA, DIPA. Our favorite was the IPA.
Saint Archer is a fairly new brewery here in San Diego. From what I’ve heard it was started by a sports agent and a bunch of his clients who are skateboarders, snowboarders, motocross riders, rodeo clowns, circus performers and the like. The branding is nice and I’m told the brewery is 100% new stuff, so […]
20 ounces of Hoppy Brewing delight to celebrate the day before the day before Thanksgiving. If you can’t get this beer where you are, you are missing what I think is one of the best IPAs in America. Just saying…
Stopped into Urge gastropub in San Diego for the first time. Nice atmosphere and lots of taps. Decided to be mellow and have a Torpedo IPA from Sierra Nevada. Excellent, well-balanced IPA; never regret getting this one.
first High Tide fresh hop IPA of the season. Carlos the security man is making sure I drink it correctly.
Made a stop at Toronado SD and they were out of the first five beer choices. Stopped by El Take It Eazy…just cuz…and walked out without having a beer. Then walked to Ritual Tavern and am sharing a Cherry Chocolate Stout collaboration beer: Jason Fields, Kevin Sheppard, Troegs, Stone.
First visit to Green Flash new location. We tried the Summer Saison, Sugar Smack Double, Tripple, Le Freak and Special Cuvee Tripple.
I’ve got a little slow time today so I decided to pop open a bottle of Ballast Point’s Sculpin IPA to go with my enchiladas. This beer is without a doubt one of the best examples of San Diego IPAs out there.
Here’s what’s on tap at Backstreet Brewing in Vista. plenty for an IPA lover to enjoy.
