We’ve been sitting on this for a little while. Not sure when it was released, but aged in rye whiskey barrels from 7-5-13 to 5-19-14. 8.2% ABV. It has held up very well. Nice wood and whiskey notes.
Just like the labels says, a chocolatey milk stout from Chicago’s Spiteful Brewing. Smooth and roasty, and not overly bitter.
This bottle from Chicago’s Spiteful Brewing has been pushed around in Michele’s fridge for months. Don’t really notice the cherry flavor from the Cascara tea, but still very tasty… and 8.2% ABV.
