Amplified Ale Works delish 8% double IPA.
…at home. Quite nice 7.5% ABV hazy IPA. Kegs gone and down to cans… but cans travel well. This is one of two I stuffed into my bike jersey before heading home. Get them while you can.
A 6% clean hoppy lager with crisp dry finish.
An 8.5% ABV imperial saison for the lady and a 6.5% wet hop pale ale for me. Yum yum.
Seems like it’s been a few years since I’ve had this wet hop IPA, from Amplified Ale Works, but then again, 2020 itself feels like it’s been a 5+year experiment… and we’re only 9 months into the year. Quite tasty. At 6.5% ABV could be classified a pale ale.
Nelson and Strata….mmm.
…wha, wha, what’s it all about? My last can of Check Your Hops. Need, need, need to get some more, but first, first get my ass up off the floor.
…with orange and cocoa nibs, by the fire pit. Whoa…aged nicely. On draft I thought the orange was overwhelming. Though still present, it’s less so. More wood and bourbon notes, roasty while maintaining the nice boozieness quality. The 14.2% ABV helps with that.
Chocodial Rock, an 8% ABV chocolate forward stout, for the lady, and Soundcheck with Nelson, a 7.4% ABV IPA with, you guessed it, Nelson hops, for me. Yum. Beautiful evening. Happy to see the patio full. We love this place.
