Whilst waiting on our doner fries on the patio. Open for dine in as of Friday. Yay! Mmm…even better 28.5 miles into the bike ride.
When I listen I still hear “moving hoards of people”, which, in my opinion, is much less inspiring. Looking forward to a patio pint at our beloved Amplified Ale Works. Cheers.
Amplified Ale Works delish 8% double IPA.
…at home. Quite nice 7.5% ABV hazy IPA. Kegs gone and down to cans… but cans travel well. This is one of two I stuffed into my bike jersey before heading home. Get them while you can.
A 6% clean hoppy lager with crisp dry finish.
An 8.5% ABV imperial saison for the lady and a 6.5% wet hop pale ale for me. Yum yum.
Seems like it’s been a few years since I’ve had this wet hop IPA, from Amplified Ale Works, but then again, 2020 itself feels like it’s been a 5+year experiment… and we’re only 9 months into the year. Quite tasty. At 6.5% ABV could be classified a pale ale.
Nelson and Strata….mmm.
…wha, wha, what’s it all about? My last can of Check Your Hops. Need, need, need to get some more, but first, first get my ass up off the floor.
