Enjoy by Christmas

Went to Maryland last week for the company Christmas party and decided to go out with some co-workers the night before. We dropped into Frisco’s Tap house in Columbia where they’d just tapped a fresh keg of Stone’s Enjoy By Christmas. A little lighter and brighter in flavor than some of the other Enjoy Bys, […]

Stone World (Liberty Station)

Stopped by the new Stone Brewing World (something another) location, and had a beer and a lobster roll. HUGE place (over 60,000 sq ft!!, and largest restaurant in town!) Fun walking around with our beers.

Enjoyable Beers in Oceanside

…and Carlsbad: Enjoyed an Enjoy by 5.17.13 and a 12.12.12 while at a happenin’ Bday party at Stone Company Store. While in the area stopped at Breakwater Brewing for a sampler set.. Always enjoyable. Then, partook in an enjoyable dinner at Compass gastropub… (Bone marrow, brussels sprouts, and beer). Overall, a very enjoyable Sunday evening.

Stone IPA and a glacial glass

Our pitcher of Stone IPA was delivered with glasses so cold the top of the glass was early sealed with ice. Note to Boll Weavil: the glasses don’t need to be *THAT* cold.

More Brown Than Black IPA

A collaboration beer from The Alchemist, Ninkasi and Stone.    At first pour the hoppy nose was promising.  The flavor was good but not quite what I was hoping for based on the smell.  Wish I opened the bottle sooner.

TBA Collaboration

Poured cold, the first sip and the nose of this collaboration beer, from Bear Republic Brewing, Fat Head’s Brewery and Stone, is all hops.  As it warms the roasted malt is more pronounced…yummy.  Hmmm…TBA?  (T something) Brown Ale?  Twisted, or ticklish, or tower, or tiny, or turd, or tree, or triangle…..Oooohhh…just informed…. Texas Brown Ale…good […]

Blending Vern for Stone Anniversary

sitting and watching Tomme and Gwen blend some Verne for the Stone 15th tomorrow. Bourbon Angel’s, peaches and black tea double barreled.

Ritual Tavern

Made a stop at Toronado SD and they were out of the first five beer choices.  Stopped by El Take It Eazy…just cuz…and walked out without having a beer.  Then walked to Ritual Tavern and am sharing a Cherry Chocolate Stout collaboration beer: Jason Fields, Kevin Sheppard, Troegs, Stone.
