Last weekend was the always popular Real Ale Festival at Pizza Port in Carlsbad. Friday had an afternoon VIP session with some incredible beers — for the few minutes that they lasted (we had to hear about them at the Lost Abbey tasting room that night). And Friday night and Saturday afternoon were quite the adventure.
We worked the tasting room Saturday and made our way over to the festival that evening arriving at a party in full swing. Rows and rows of beer engines pulling some of the tastiest craft brews on cask we’ve ever had.
Even better than the beer was the people. There’s something about a beer festival that just puts everyone in a good mood. Naturally, we had the camera handy and snapped away. Here’s a slideshow of the evening’s events. Enjoy!
