It’s official, the 2009 release of brandy barrel-aged Angel’s Share will be released at The Lost Abbey on Saturday, February 28th at 10 am.
Unlike previous releases of this incredible barleywine, this one will be available in both 375ml and 750ml bottles, which is a nice change since getting through a whole 750 of this big beer (good as it is, it’s still 12.5%) is a challenge even for a couple of accomplished drinkers like Beer Molly and myself.
Even better for non-locals, the 750ml bottles are actually going to make it into distribution, which means that those of you on the other side of the country won’t be forced to simply hear about this beer in legend and song (or trade away your wife and children to get a bottle).
