Green Room Double Overhead DIPA

I’m here in freezing Jacksonville, FL enjoying some of the local brew. This one is Double Overhead, a double IPA from Jacksonville Beach-based Green Room brewing.

Not as malty, nor as hop-forward as some of the West Coast DIPAs I’m used to, but a very drinkable beer nonetheless. After this one I think I’ll try their Pablo Beach Pale. The bartender tells me it’s a distinctive hoppy pale along the lines of Sierra Nevada’s. Sounds tasty.
