We made a stop at the recently opened satellite tasting room in OB and we were pleasently surprised with the beer. We had been to their Clairmont location when they first opened and weren’t to impressed. Definitely a step in the right direction.
Favs were a single hop American IPA named Galaxy Hoptastic Voyage, a sour berlinerweiss made with strawberries named S3 Strawberry Sour, and their Chocolate Macadamia Nut Stout. Also enjoyed their S3 Blueberry and S3 Mango, but neither tasted like the fruit used…we got melon like notes. Not bad, just not as good as the strawberry.
We will definitely be back.
