HopValley Brewing Co. is not actually in Eugene, but just east of I-5 and slightly north in the town of Springfield. Having no clue where I was going, I called HopValley and the kind girl gave me turn by turn directions. The drive was less than 10-minutes.
I quickly browsed the beer menu and selected four tasters; Stepchild Red, Impeller Pale Ale, Alphaholic IPA and Vanilla Porter. All were tasty and very drinkable. The menu looked awesome, but I had just eaten, so I elected to have some dessert. The Vanilla Porter went very well with my dark chocolate covered cheesecake.
I wish I could spend more time in the Eugene area, but I needed to head east to Crescent, where I would spend the night, wake, say goodbye to some of my hosts and head to Portland for my afternoon flight home.
